At the Edinburgh Fringe 2022, Finlay was called "the voice of his generation" by Chortle and was nominated for NextUp's "Best Show" award. He is also the youngest ever winner of the prestigious "So You Think You’re Funny" competition. He has appeared on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, ITV2's The Stand-up Sketch Show and the BBC New Comedy Award. He also has 280k subscribers on YouTube and 180k followers on TikTok for his stand-up and sketches.
